A New Beginning: Why I Created Growing Faith
For a long time, I’ve been searching for purpose.
Not just what I should be doing — but who God created me to be.
There was a season where life felt unclear, and I kept asking myself:
Who am I becoming?
What is God trying to show me?
Things started to make sense when I was thinking about my candle collection.
What started as a simple idea slowly turned into something deeper.
I realized I didn’t just want to make candles.
I wanted to connect.
I wanted to talk about faith.
And I wanted to encourage people who might be feeling the same way I was.
I wanted to create a space that felt soft, safe, and real.
A place where faith doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
My relationship with God is still new.
About a year ago is when everything really began for me.
Since then, I’ve been learning, growing, stumbling, getting back up — and learning again.
And honestly… I love that.
I love that I’m still learning.
I love that God meets me exactly where I am — not where I think I should be.
That’s the heart behind Growing Faith.
A space that feels like family.
A reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out to walk with God.
I hope this blog brings comfort.
Happiness.
Encouragement.
And a reminder that you’re not alone.
I want this to be a place where grace feels gentle.
Where faith is allowed to grow slowly.
Where you can breathe and remember:
Don’t be so hard on yourself. God will meet you right where you are.
If you’ve ever felt unsure, unbalanced, or confused about who you’re becoming,
I want you to know — I’ve been there too.
That’s why I created this space.
✨ Two verses that shaped this journey for me
“Be still and know that I am God.”
A reminder for me to stop overthinking and let God lead.
“Be light over darkness.”
A quiet promise I made to myself — to choose light even when doubt feels close.
My promise moving forward:
Starting this blog is me stepping into obedience…
and also stepping out of fear.
I promised myself I would:
Stay consistent
Get out of my own head
Step outside my comfort zone
And inspire others the way God has been inspiring me
I don’t want perfection.
I just want growth — slow, steady, God-led growth.
If you found your way here, I hope you feel it.
That warmth. That softness. That feeling of:
She gets me.
You’re not alone.
You’re not behind.
You’re not too late.
You’re growing — and that’s enough.
