A Prayer for Daily Bread

Father God,

Today, I’m not asking for everything.

I’m asking for what I need for today.

Give me the strength for today’s responsibilities.
Give me patience for today’s conversations.
Give me peace for today’s worries.
Give me wisdom for today’s decisions.

If I need courage — provide it.
If I need comfort — provide it.
If I need discipline — provide it.
If I need rest — provide it.

Help me stop borrowing tomorrow’s stress.

Remind me that You are a daily Provider.

Not just in big miracles —
but in quiet grace.

Let me trust that if You provide today’s bread,
You will also provide tomorrow’s.
