Are You Enriching Other People’s Lives With What You Do? 🤍

Lately I’ve been thinking about something deeper than success, money, followers, titles, or even productivity.

When people leave my presence…
do they feel lighter or heavier?

Do they feel encouraged?
Seen?
Loved?
Safe?
Inspired?

Or do they leave feeling drained?

Because the older I get, the more I realize life is not just about what we accomplish — it’s also about what we pour into other people while we’re accomplishing it.

We may not all have huge platforms.
We may not all preach sermons.
We may not all become famous.

But every single one of us has the ability to enrich someone’s life.

Sometimes it’s through encouragement.
Sometimes it’s through listening.
Sometimes it’s through kindness.
Sometimes it’s through simply being present when someone feels alone.

And honestly?
I think people remember how you made them feel far more than what you owned.

As Christians, I truly believe we should ask ourselves:

Am I bringing more peace into people’s lives?
Am I helping people feel closer to God?
Am I speaking life into people or constantly criticizing them?
Am I creating spaces where people feel loved and welcomed?

Because being a light is not always loud.

Sometimes being a light looks like:

  • checking on someone
  • praying for someone quietly
  • supporting people’s dreams
  • choosing patience instead of anger
  • making someone laugh during a hard season
  • creating something that comforts people
  • helping someone feel less alone

Even online.

Especially online.

The internet can already feel so heavy sometimes. That’s why I want my words, my content, my business, and my presence to leave people feeling encouraged instead of empty.

And no, we won’t get it right all the time.
We’re human.

But I think it’s beautiful when someone intentionally chooses to make the world softer instead of harder.

So today I just want to ask you:

What are people receiving from your presence?

Because you may never fully realize how deeply your kindness, your words, your prayers, your smile, your creativity, or your heart could be enriching someone else’s life 🤍

Reflection

Maybe success is not only about building a life for yourself.
Maybe it’s also about helping other people breathe a little easier while they’re trying to build theirs too.
