Prayer for Obedience

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me with patience, even when I struggle to listen. You see my heart—the moments I hesitate, the times I try to do things my own way, and the fear that sometimes holds me back.

Lord, teach me obedience.

Not just in the big moments, but in the quiet, everyday choices. Help me to trust that Your way is better, even when I don’t fully understand it. Give me the strength to say “yes” when You call me, even if it feels uncomfortable or uncertain.

Soften my heart where it’s stubborn.
Quiet my thoughts when doubt gets loud.
And align my desires with Yours, so that following You becomes my natural response—not a struggle.

Father, I don’t want to just hear Your word… I want to live it.

Guide my steps.
Correct me when I drift.
And remind me that obedience isn’t about perfection—it’s about love and trust in You.

Today, I choose to surrender my plans for Yours.

Lead me, Lord. I’m listening.
