Nineteen years old.
Honestly… where did the time go?

It feels like just yesterday I was holding your tiny hand, trying to figure out motherhood one day at a time. And now here you are — growing into your own person, making your own decisions, following your own heart, and teaching me things along the way too.

Being your mom has taught me so much about patience. Real patience.
The kind that stretches you. The kind that grows you. The kind that makes you realize love isn’t always perfect moments — it’s showing up over and over again through every season.

This year especially, I found myself emotional watching you step more into adulthood and into the woman you’re becoming. Seeing the way you celebrated me for Mother’s Day meant more than you probably even realize. As moms, sometimes we pour and pour and pour into everyone else and quietly wonder if our love is truly seen. And baby, you made me feel seen.

Watching you choose your career path and truly follow your heart has also made me so proud. There’s something beautiful about seeing your child begin to discover who they are instead of who the world expects them to be. I know life won’t always be easy, but I pray you always stay soft enough to love deeply, strong enough to keep going, and brave enough to trust the path God is placing in front of you.

I hope this year brings you peace, laughter, growth, confidence, healing, good memories, and so many opportunities. I hope you continue becoming everything God created you to be without losing the beautiful heart you already have.
