A Prayer for Identity

Heavenly Father,

Sometimes I forget who I am.

I let comparison speak louder than truth.
I let my mistakes define me.
I let roles and titles try to label me.

But You call me something else.

You call me chosen.
You call me loved.
You call me redeemed.
You call me Yours.

When I feel “too much,” remind me I am intentional.
When I feel “not enough,” remind me I am already complete in You.
When I feel behind, remind me You are not rushing my story.

Help me stop building my identity on what I do, how I perform, or who approves of me.

I am not just a mom navigating life.
I am not just building a brand.
I am not just a woman trying to grow.

I am Your daughter.

Secure me in that truth so deeply that no opinion can shake it.
Root me so firmly in You that no season can redefine me.

Let my confidence come from belonging to You — not proving myself to others.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen
