A Prayer for Peace

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts.

The world feels loud right now.
There is war.
There is famine.
There is division and fear.
And sometimes it feels like darkness is pressing in from every direction.

Father, we ask for Your peace.

Not the kind of peace the world tries to offer.
Not temporary comfort.
Not distraction.

But Your peace — the kind that surpasses all understanding.

Calm the nations, Lord.
Bring wisdom to leaders.
Protect the innocent.
Strengthen those who are suffering.
Cover Israel and every place torn by conflict with Your mercy and protection.

And Father, calm our hearts too.

When anxiety rises at night…
When the news overwhelms us…
When uncertainty makes us feel unstable…

Remind us that You are still sovereign.

Steady our thoughts.
Guard our minds.
Anchor us in truth.

Help us not to live in fear, but in faith.
Not in panic, but in prayer.
Not in despair, but in hope.

Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Teach us to trust You deeper.
Teach us to rest in You fully.
Teach us to carry light in dark places.

We place this world in Your hands.
We place our families in Your hands.
We place our future in Your hands.

And we choose to trust You.
