Faith Between the Clock-In and the Calling
Some days feel heavy before they even begin.
The alarm rings, responsibilities call, and the weight of life settles on your shoulders before your feet touch the floor.
You show up anyway.
You go to work.
You take care of others.
You handle business.
You carry emotional loads no one sees.
And somewhere in between exhaustion and obedience, you're still trying to build something meaningful.
That quiet dream God placed in your heart.
This journey — working full time while nurturing a calling — isn’t easy. It’s stretching. It’s lonely at times. It’s filled with moments where you wonder if you're doing enough or moving fast enough. And yet… here you are. Still believing. Still showing up. Still planting seeds.
I know this walk personally.
Balancing responsibilities, work, motherhood, vision, faith, healing, and purpose isn’t something you master overnight. It’s something you surrender daily. There are moments when I feel tired. Moments when I feel unseen. Moments when the process feels slow.
But I’ve learned something sacred in the middle of it all.
God does not waste hidden seasons.
Every late night, every prayer whispered while driving, every moment of doubt you pushed through with faith — He sees it. He honors it. He multiplies it.
Sometimes the world only values productivity.
But God values obedience.
The world applauds perfection.
God honors perseverance.
The world celebrates platforms.
God celebrates hearts.
If you are a single mom doing your best with limited energy.
If you are a working mom holding your family together while still nurturing your purpose.
If you are a dreamer trying to build something precious with God while juggling real life…
Please hear this clearly:
You are not behind.
You are not forgotten.
You are not failing.
You are becoming.
There is beauty in building slowly with God.
There is power in consistency when no one is watching.
There is purpose in showing up when quitting feels easier.
Keep going.
Keep trusting.
Keep creating.
Keep believing.
What God is growing through you will outlast what you’re walking through.
Lord,
Strengthen the weary heart.
Encourage the discouraged soul.
Remind every woman reading this that her effort matters, her obedience matters, and her faith is seen by You.
Give us peace in the process, clarity in the calling, and endurance for the journey.
Help us trust You even when progress feels slow.
We surrender our timelines and receive Your purpose.
Amen.
Where in your life do you feel stretched but still faithful?
