You’re Doing Better Than You Think
Can I tell you something gently?
You’re doing better than you think you are.
I know you see the flaws.
I know you replay conversations.
I know you compare timelines.
I know you question if you’re growing “fast enough.”
But growth isn’t loud.
Sometimes growth looks like:
• Not reacting the way you used to
• Praying before panicking
• Showing up even when you’re tired
• Choosing peace over proving a point
• Getting back up instead of giving up
That’s growth.
You may not be where you want to be —
but you are not where you used to be.
And that matters.
God sees the quiet progress.
The small obedience.
The private tears.
The prayers you whispered when no one was around.
Nothing is wasted.
Even the slow seasons are shaping you.
Even the confusing seasons are strengthening you.
Even the waiting seasons are preparing you.
You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You are becoming.
Lord,
Help me see myself the way You see me.
Not behind. Not broken. Not failing.
But growing.
Give me grace with my pace.
Remind me that You are working even when I can’t see it.
Strengthen me for today — and help me trust You with tomorrow.
Amen.
