A Prayer for Patience

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your unfailing love and for never leaving my side, even when life feels uncertain.

Lord, I confess that waiting is hard. Sometimes I want answers immediately. I want doors to open now, prayers to be answered today, and circumstances to change overnight.

But Your timing is perfect.

Teach me to wait with faith instead of fear. Help me trust that You are working even when I cannot see it. Give me peace when I feel restless and remind me that every delay has a purpose.

Lord, grow patience within me—not only while I wait for blessings, but also in the way I speak, love others, and respond to life's challenges.

When frustration begins to rise, replace it with Your peace.

When I become discouraged, fill me with hope.

When I feel like giving up, remind me that You are never late.

Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You instead of my circumstances. Strengthen my heart so I can walk faithfully through every season You have prepared for me.

Thank You for every lesson You are teaching me while I wait.

I trust that Your plans are better than mine, Your timing is wiser than mine, and Your love for me never changes.

Help me wait with confidence, hope, and joy.
