God's Promises Never Change—No Matter What Season You're In
There are seasons in life when everything seems to make sense. You can clearly see God moving, prayers are being answered, and your faith feels strong.
Then there are seasons when you're waiting. You're unsure of what's next. You wonder if God hears your prayers, if He's working behind the scenes, or if you've somehow missed His plan.
I've learned that trusting God isn't something that happens overnight. It's something that grows one day at a time.
For me, that growth has come from simply showing up every day—opening my Bible, spending time with God, praying, and getting to know who He truly is. The more I read His Word, the more I recognize His voice. The more I know His character, the easier it becomes to reject the lies, fear, and doubts that try to fill my mind.
That's one of the biggest lessons God has been teaching me.
Not every thought that enters our minds comes from Him.
If a thought tells you that you're not enough, that God has abandoned you, that your life has no purpose, or that you'll never change, stop and ask yourself this question:
Does this align with God's character and His Word?
If it doesn't, don't believe it.
God is loving.
God is faithful.
God is patient.
God keeps His promises.
Those are the truths we can stand on, even when our feelings tell us something different.
Starting Growing Faith | Butterfly Bliss has been one of the biggest steps of faith I've ever taken. There have been moments when I've questioned whether I was capable or whether anyone would even read what I write.
But every time I open my Bible to prepare a devotional or study a chapter, God reminds me that this isn't about me—it's about Him.
He's been using this journey to grow my own faith just as much as I hope He's using it to encourage someone else.
Before I can share God's Word with others, He first teaches it to my own heart.
Looking back, I can see His promises unfolding in ways I never expected.
Sometimes we want God to reveal the entire plan before we take the first step.
Instead, He often asks us to trust Him with today's step.
That's where faith grows.
If you're in a difficult season right now, I want to encourage you with this:
Even if you don't feel God, He's still working.
He hasn't forgotten you.
He hasn't walked away.
He hasn't changed His mind about you.
God's Promises Never Change—No Matter What Season You're In Sometimes God calls us outside of our comfort zone so our faith can grow. While every uncomfortable situation isn't necessarily from God, He often uses those moments to teach us to depend on Him more fully. As you take each step, keep testing what you hear and believe against His Word and His character.
Keep showing up.
Keep praying.
Keep reading His Word.
Keep trusting Him, even when you can't see what He's doing.
One day you'll look back and realize that God was faithful through every single season—even the ones that didn't make sense at the time.
His promises don't change because He doesn't change.
No matter what season you're in today, you can trust that the same God who has been faithful before will continue to be faithful tomorrow.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being faithful in every season of my life. Thank You for never leaving me, even when I can't see what You're doing. Help me trust Your promises more than my feelings and Your truth more than my doubts.
Teach me to recognize Your voice through Your Word and to reject every lie that doesn't align with Your character. Give me the courage to keep showing up, to keep growing, and to keep trusting You one step at a time.
Thank You for Your unfailing love, Your endless grace, and Your perfect faithfulness.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
Now it's your turn.
