I Know I’m Not the Only One Feeling This… 🤍
I Know I’m Not the Only One Feeling This… 🤍
There has been something heavy sitting on my heart lately.
Maybe you have felt it too.
You turn on the news. Scroll social media. Watch the world around you. Hear another story. Another war. Another disaster. Another moment that makes you stop and wonder…
What is happening?
And if I am being honest… sometimes I feel uncertainty.
Sometimes fear.
Sometimes I look around and think about Revelation.
I think many of us have quietly had that thought.
Maybe we do not always say it out loud because we do not want to sound dramatic, fearful, or “too much.” But deep down, there are moments where we wonder if we are watching the pages of scripture unfold before our eyes.
And maybe I am not the only one feeling this.
The Book of Revelation can feel overwhelming. It speaks of trials, suffering, warnings, and things that can make our hearts uneasy.
But something I keep reminding myself is this:
Revelation was never written just to create fear.
It was written to reveal hope.
Because in the middle of every warning, every hardship, every unknown moment… God was still there.
God still knew the ending.
God was still on the throne.
And maybe that is the reminder we need right now.
Because yes, the world feels uncertain.
Yes, there are moments that can make us anxious.
Yes, some days it feels like everything is changing.
But God has not changed.
The same God who spoke peace in scripture still speaks peace now.
The same God who carried people through impossible seasons still carries us.
The same God who already knows tomorrow is walking with us today.
The Bible tells us over and over:
“Do not be afraid.”
And if I am honest… sometimes I still am.
But faith is not pretending fear does not exist.
Faith is choosing God even while fear tries to sit beside us.
So if you have felt uncertain lately…
If you have looked around and quietly wondered…
If your heart has been carrying questions…
You are not alone.
I see you.
More importantly, God sees you.
And maybe instead of asking, “Should I be afraid?”
We ask:
“How can I stay close to God in these times?”
Because that answer changes everything.
Maybe right now the invitation is simple:
Pray more.
Stay in scripture.
Love people.
Hold onto hope.
And keep your eyes on Jesus.
No matter what season we are living in… He is still our peace.
Have you been feeling this too? You do not have to carry it alone.
