Genesis Chapter 7
Chapter Summary
God tells Noah to enter the ark with his family and the animals He has chosen to preserve. Once everyone is safely inside, God shuts the door, and the flood begins. Rain falls for forty days and forty nights, covering the entire earth. The flood is God’s judgment on humanity’s wickedness, yet He faithfully protects Noah and his family because of Noah’s obedience and faith.
Observation
Genesis 7 highlights both God’s justice and His mercy. God judged sin, but He also made a way of salvation for those who trusted Him. Noah’s obedience wasn’t partial—it was complete. Even when he couldn’t see the outcome, he trusted God and followed His instructions faithfully.
Life Application
Genesis Chapter 7 There will be times when God asks us to trust Him before we understand what He is doing. Like Noah, we are called to obey even when the path ahead seems uncertain. God is faithful to guide, protect, and keep His promises. While we may face storms in life, we can rest knowing that God is with us through every one of them.

Encouragement
Whatever storm you may be facing today, remember that God has not forgotten you. The same God who protected Noah is still faithful today. Trust Him one step at a time, knowing that He sees the bigger picture and will never leave those who put their hope in Him. Genesis Chapter 7
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for always keeping Your promises. Just as You protected Noah through the flood, help me trust You through every storm in my life. Give me a heart that obeys You even when I don’t understand Your plans. Strengthen my faith, remind me that You are in control, and help me walk closely with You each day. Thank You for Your mercy, Your protection, and Your unfailing love.
