My Testimony: How God Met Me in My Lowest Moments
There was a time in my life where I felt completely lost.
Not the kind of lost where you just need a little direction…
But the kind where you don’t even recognize yourself anymore.
I was carrying pain I didn’t talk about.
Smiling on the outside, but quietly struggling on the inside.
Trying to hold everything together… while slowly falling apart.
And if I’m being honest, I didn’t always turn to God right away.
I tried to fix things on my own.
I tried to control outcomes.
I tried to fill the emptiness with things that were never meant to heal me.
But nothing worked.
When Everything Feels Heavy
There’s something about those low moments…
They strip everything down.
They show you what’s real.
They force you to face the parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding.
And for me, it was exhausting.
I felt overwhelmed.
Confused.
Tired of carrying the same weight over and over again.
I knew something had to change…
I just didn’t know how.
The Moment That Shifted Everything
It wasn’t a big, dramatic moment.
It was a realization.
A quiet, honest moment where I finally admitted:
“I can’t do this on my own anymore.”
And that’s when everything started to shift.
Not because my life instantly became perfect…
But because I finally let God in.
Learning to Let Go
Letting go wasn’t easy.
It meant releasing control.
It meant trusting even when I didn’t understand.
It meant choosing faith over fear… again and again.
But slowly, things started to feel different.
I wasn’t carrying everything by myself anymore.
I wasn’t trying to have all the answers.
I started to feel peace in places that used to feel heavy.
What I Know Now
Looking back, I can see it clearly…
God was with me the entire time.
Even in the moments I felt far from Him.
Even when I didn’t choose Him right away.
Even when I questioned everything.
He never left.
And the truth is… He hasn’t left you either.
If You’re in That Place Right Now
I don’t know what you’re going through.
But I do know what it feels like to be tired.
To feel lost.
To wonder if things will ever change.
And I want you to hear this:
You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to figure everything out.
You just have to take one step… and let God meet you there.
