When You Feel Forgotten, Remember This
There are moments…
when it feels like no one sees you.
Like you’re showing up, doing your best, trying to be strong…
and somehow, you still feel overlooked.
Forgotten.
And if I’m being real…
that feeling hits deeper than we like to admit.
Because it’s not just about people not texting back or checking in…
it’s the quiet question that creeps in:
“Do I even matter?”
I’ve felt that.
More than once.
And I’ve learned something in those moments—
something I have to remind myself of again and again:
You are not forgotten.
Not by God.
Even when people don’t show up the way you hoped…
even when the room feels quiet…
even when it seems like everyone else is being seen, celebrated, chosen…
God still sees you.
Every tear you didn’t explain.
Every time you kept going when you wanted to give up.
Every moment you felt alone but still showed up anyway.
He sees all of it.
And just because people don’t always recognize your heart…
doesn’t mean it isn’t valuable.
Sometimes, the world is loud about the wrong things—
attention, popularity, who’s noticed the most.
But God?
He pays attention to what really matters.
Your heart.
Your intentions.
Your quiet strength.
So if you’ve been feeling forgotten lately…
I want you to pause and sit with this:
You are still chosen.
You are still loved.
You are still seen.
Even in this moment.
And maybe this season isn’t about being noticed by everyone…
maybe it’s about being held by God in a deeper way.
Maybe it’s about learning that your worth was never tied to who remembers you…
but to the One who never forgets you.
So take a breath.
You don’t have to fight for attention.
You don’t have to prove your worth.
You are already known.
Already loved.
Already held.
Even here.
Even now.
