A Prayer for the Future

Heavenly Father,

Today I come to You with a heart that feels both hopeful and uncertain.

There are things ahead of me that I don’t understand yet,
paths I haven’t walked,
and moments I can’t predict.

Sometimes that makes me feel anxious.
Sometimes it makes me feel afraid.

But Lord, I don’t want to live in fear of the future.
I want to trust You with it.

Help me release the need to have everything figured out.
Help me let go of the “what ifs” that fill my mind.

Remind me that You are already there—
in every tomorrow, every step, every unknown.

Give me peace in the waiting.
Give me strength in the growing.
Give me faith when I start to doubt.

Teach me to trust You not just when things make sense,
but even when they don’t.

And as I move forward,
guide my steps, protect my heart,
and help me become who You’ve called me to be.

I may not know what the future holds…
but I know You are holding me.

And that is enough.
